Hi everyone. I had a 10x6 vent previously. We covered up the old wood floor with new flooring and now the vent cover doesn’t fit because the new floor is taller than the previous floor. it’s maybe half an inch or so too tall for the current hole. Do metal vents stretch? (thinking maybe it’s possible to cut the drywall and stretch the vent up a bit?) Without re doing any of the vent work can I fix this and somehow get a vent in there?
