I got an HVAC heat pump system in 2018 that's Trane XR16 Single Stage heat pump and Variable Speed air handler. My original programmable manual select type thermostat was used.
For years I've been wondering whether I can get a type of thermostat that will auto switch between AC and heat. The one I have, in the fall, I have to hit the mode button to switch to AC when it's warm, and then switch it to heat when it's cool at night.
Any ideas? Thanks.
