I have a gas insert vented fireplace. I had a guy install a blower in the unit a few years ago.
Now that it's super cold out I can feel a draft coming through the units lower part where the blower sits
Can I put some mineral wool insulation in the cavity down there to help the draft? I'm worried the blower sucks air from this space and I don't want mineral wool dust being blown through the vent.
