Hi guys,
I hope I am asking in the right section. Recently, I noticed that the cold water shutoff lever (yellow circle) going to the boiler was in the OFF position. I turned it back ON thinking it shouldn't be in the off position. And I moved the lever on the water feed regulator (blue circle) back and forth quickly, which seemed to increase the pressure on the boiler by about 5 psi. I only did it because I have seen one of the HVAC guys do it and I thought it was a routine thing one had to do. Did I mess anything up? Does everything look normal?
Is the pressure in the boiler too low?
The temperature of the boiler is a bit low because I took the picture at 1am when the boiler isn't as active.
Thanks.
