I'm hoping someone can shed light on my problem... of course, happening at 1:47am on a Sunday...
My oil-run boiler has suddenly stopped heating the pipes for my radiators - 3 zones in all throughout the house. This can be felt inside where right now the outside temperature is around 25 degrees. The funny thing is that we're still getting hot water (I can hear the boiler fire up after a few seconds of running hot water).
I've double checked the electrical switches (on boiler and main panel), emergency oil switch, and all 3 thermostats. Everything is in check, but still no heat in the radiator pipes. The boiler in question is a Burnham, not new, but definitely not old.
Any suggestions would be much appreciated, as course things would have it, tomorrow outside temps are going down below 20 degrees, and only until Monday can I call my repairman.
Thoughts?
