HVAC sounds or something else?

Hello all! (New member/new homeowner here!)

We recently bought our first house and have learned that it makes some mysterious noises at night. Precisely between 5AM and 6AM daily on the dot. I would best describe it as a loud buzzing but I have recently heard more of a whooshing (air?) sound emanating in the same area (but only once from 7 to 7:30AM but there's no vents in that spot). I have turned the furnace off and shut off the main water line with no luck but haven't cut power to the house to see if it stops. I've climbed into the attic and can't seem to see anything visible causing the sound although the sound when in the attic seems to be closer to the new furnace (or maybe more likely under it?) than where it sounds like when in the house.

The house was built in 1958 and a new gas furnace was installed with all new flexible ducts before we bought it but all the old metal ductwork is still in place and sealed off. The main water line is on the same side of the house where the sound is coming from (which is why I tried turning off the water) but the sound emanates from higher up in the walls. It's semi close to the front door (doorbell transformer?) but precise 'scheduled' timing doesn't seem to fit that idea. I thought maybe an old unused sprinkler timer would make sense but it's not even plugged in to the house/has no power. No sprinklers are on and the pool pump isn't operating at that time (even turned the power off to the pool). Reason I'm posting here is to figure out if it's possible there's some sort of HVAC equipment that was left in the older system/ducts (that are all now covered in spray insulation) that could still be functioning on a schedule? I imagine there has to be some remodeling on this house in the past so not sure if there used to be vents in the area in question!

I am at a loss figuring this out and I don't even know who to call to investigate (HVAC, plumbing, electrical?). If anyone has even the slightest idea that could help or at least rule in/out an HVAC issue I would appreciate it!

Many thanks in advance!
Eric
