So while redoing our Rec Room, we noticed that our electric baseboard heaters, on a programmable thermostat were recalled in 1996. :eek2: They were there long before we were, but we swapped them out with the same size and wattage (8 long, 2000W, 240V run in parallel to the one thermostat).
The thermostat we have installed is an Aube TH115-AF-240D - which is rated for 15A and 3600W.
Theyve been this way since 2012ish from what I can tell.
My heaters are 4000W and 16.6A combined.
How bad is this?
I see they have a TH115-AF-240S - which is rate for 16.7 and 4000W baseboards.
Are there others could better? They are programmed for all the time, but they are supplemental heat. We have a Trane furnace and Heatpump for the primary heat.
Thank you all!
