Furnace won't stay lit, potential correlation to high wind conditions?

Hello, 20 year old Bryant gas furnace. I've woken up 2x in the last week (once last weekend, once this morning) to find the blower fan running, but the burner not lit. Both times correspond to mornings with high winds. Thermostat says the unit was running 2-3 hours each time whereas a typical cycle is 20-30 min. A tech came to service the unit this past week (seasonal checkup/cleaning) and didn't find any issues.

Probably 100 or so cycles in between these to instances with no issue. Running fine right now over two cycles.

Additional info:
- Both times I cycled power to the unit and waited
- Thermostat triggers operation
- Ignitor glows
- First time, burner ignition on the first ignitor cycle
- Second time, burner ignition on the third ignitor cycle
- Flame is deep blue, and strong
- Blower fan comes on and everything works fine

- No issues with any other gas appliances (stove, water heater)
- Fresh filter
- No closed returns or supply registers

Questions:
Is it possible there is a correlation between the high winds and the furnace not staying lit?
Why wouldn't it automatically cycle if the flame is out?
What are other potential causes?

I am not going to tinker myself, just trying to get an understanding of what the problem could be. Any work would be performed by a tech. Thanks
