I was all set to go ahead with Arcoaire, which is a Carrier company. I decided to dig in and do some R&D as a homeowner. First thing I found was they have zero support phone line. Next, there doesn't seem to be any viable address of the company and in terms of management information there is nothing. They have a support page like Contact Us and I tried putting in a request but nothing, no response, acknowledgement even.
So I decided to contact Carrier Corporation. They were quite rude and refused to answer anything involving any of their sister brands except Carrier.
This is a +10 year relationship. What happens if my installer goes belly-up. Yes, I can find a 2nd. dealer maybe but if he refuses to service then I feel I have zero options here. Reading thru this forum I see multiple instances where HVAC professionals like yourself recommended to some HO to go ahead and call the main company. In my case I'll not have anyone or anything to call.
