Why this thread is closed?

I read and understand the DIY rule here:

2. Do-It-Yourself (DIY) - not here.

This site is for industry professionals and folks seeking HVAC/R advice and knowledge. Please do not ask for step by step instructions on purchasing, installing or repairing your own equipment. This is our job and our livelihood. We are generous, but not to a fault.

Questions of this type will not be answered and may be deleted at the discretion of the Moderators.

One of my thread was closed and it was cited as DIY. In the thread I never asked for any helps in the project. I only shared my experience of how I did it.

Another member's thread sharing his experience of a busted water pipe and how he fixed it.

It's not closed. I beg the question what is the difference?
