my AC's duct and exhaust hoses are filled with mold :/ (picture added)
someone suggested i install a UVC light system close to the radiator so that it will kill any future mold.
also, the sales person said that after a few weeks, the existing mold in the ducts and hoses will die..
he claims that the UVC light will block new spores from reaching the duct and by that- it will kill the remaining mold that are already there..
i am struggling to believe what he said but wanted to check if you had any thoughts on the issue.
so- will a UVC light kill existing spores in the AC and exhaust system? how effective is it for preventing from future mold?
if not- is there something that could work to kill the spores before installing the UVC?
