This is hypothetical and I wouldn’t do this however since my system is old and uses the rock catchers that are MERV 1...if I were to double them up, stacked tight one in the other...would that be a MERV 2 or does it increase exponentially. I guess easier math would be would 2 MERV 4s equal merv 8 or merv 16?
