Hi,
I am trying to figure out what temperatures to set the AUX and Heat Pump lockout to. I have a Daikin DZ20VC heat pump (model DZ20VC0481B to be exact) and the unit is 100% electric so the pricing is consistent at 10 cents per kWh.
You can find the technical specifications at https://backend.daikincomfort.com/do...sn=dd2f2b26_21.
Per page 20 of the specs, COP hovers at around 1.3 at -10 Fahrenheit both in Low Stage and High Stage heating. This seems to imply that my lockout temperature should be set to -10F or lower.
I don't have a good understanding of what "Low Stage" and "High Stage" heating means in this context. Is it referring exclusively to AUX (coil) heating? Or is it referring to the heat pump?
Looking at these specifications, how do I figure out the ideal lockout temperatures for AUX and the Heat Pump? What should I look for?
Thank you,
Gili
