I have a Goodman Furnace GMPN080-4 that has a blower motor turning on and off (turns on every 10 minutes and lasts for maybe 5 minutes).
- It does this while I have the thermostat set to Off.
- If I try to force the fan on by thermostat, nothing happens. (Still turns on and off whenever it wants?)
- previous owner had old thermostat and did not use green wire. I connected it with new thermostat.
- With heat on, the fan blows cold air before furnace Heat kicks on and after heat is off.
It does not have the dial fan limit switch just the fixed setting kind. Does this sound like a possible culprit? Or maybe a relay?
Thanks,
Adam
