Hello. I have a 60 btu single stage furnace with a 31400 btu load calc. Static pressure is 0.8” Hvac contractor for the build had a specialist come in.
My question is this. The supply setup has 2 branches off the plenum stack, 3 off the transition, 4 off the 10’ long 16x8, then 10 off of the 10’ 12x8 with 8 branches coming off of the last 5’ of the 12x8 and 4 of those in the last 2’ of trunk.
My question is is it alright for the contractor to turn the last 10’ of the supply trunk into a full length 16x8?
