2 floors and 2 A HVAC units are ideal. Got it. But mostly the bedrooms are located in 2nd floor used when going to sleep and during other times families tend to stay on 1st floor.
Hot air rises. Cooling the 1st floor causes the hot air to go to 2nd floor. Does this mean in a regular setup we need to keep both HVAC up and running or maybe its okay, start the 2nd floor HVAC probably an hour before sleep time?
Was in the home with such a setup. But as they keep 2nd floor HVAC off during day time (high set point) i found the 2nd floor to be abnormally hot.
